Yep. It’s totally fucked up.

You just had to mention vampires. Now crying inside over cognitive dissonance between this and my love of *Buffy* lol. Yes, we were all aware, we just love the show too much. By default Riley is the only acceptable boyfriend option. That or no one.

Sure, I could tell by the context but it is absolutely a dynamic that translates. Just expressing personal anguish lol

I might be grasping at straws but that plus the romanticization of vampires is a weird combo. Vampires are monsters--mean, predatory parasites. Not people with a misunderstood lifestyle. (Hey, I think I just stumbled upon an analogy!)

The fact that Twilight made it's author bazillions suggests that people like that kind of story for some reason. Though I like the Larry Correia quote: 'I blame it on Twilight. In real life, vampires only sparkle when they're on fire.'

Yes, two. Shields did "Pretty Baby" at 11 in 1978. So, that's a pretty solid two generations by almost anyone's standards.

We've a large signal standing well out from the noise. FBI should take its' moles away from spying on regular folk and sic them on these kind of outfits. It is not exactly rocket science; is it?

My first relationship was with a man double my age and I know I was parent-hungry. I'm thankful that you included that section of the article because a part of me was screaming inside knowing this is why children would be attracted to those older than them. It's often a sign of unresolved issues and trauma, not a good thing or something to be celebrated. But it's no shock to see people try to push the idea that some traumatic response is normal. As I've recently written about, our society is becoming used to being traumatized so we view trauma responses as normal things and things to be celebrated now.

Yep. We’ve stopped acknowledging that trauma responses are not good.

It is worth noting that there is a clear evolutionary preference for women (particularly teens) to prefer older men because an older man is more likely to be able to have the resources to provide the required support for a pregnant wife or nursing mother.

There is a thin line between older and too old. And the pedos and other abusers are well aware of this and try to exploit the legitimate desire for "slightly older" to make it acceptable for "creepy older" as well

I just want to cry. I want to scream! I want to light a torch and gather a crowd and storm the citadels where this disgusting depravity dwells. This assault on all that is good and clean and moral and innocent transcends my imagination, which here-to-fore I thought could get to some pretty dark places. Now they want to create (because it doesn't exist unless forced on a child), normalize and glamorize child sexual attraction to adults. AMA to MAA. Is their next act A+MAA (Adult & Minor Attracted to Animals)? How easy would that be. Sounds so innocent. Aren't most of us, at any age, attracted to animals? Ahhh but it's the sneaky lie by omission by which they will sneak it by us.

Fetishists of the vilest sort have been given a platform by the trans (name your idiocy) movement and it will not stop until the sane stop gaping in disbelief and allowing themselves to be gaslighted.

Thank you for being part of the solution, Holly. This stuff has to be painful for you to research and write about, but thank you for doing it anyway.

People have lost their fucking minds. I really don't understand how anyone can look at that picture of a child putting dollar bills in an adult's underwear and think, "This is normal. Totally fine. Good, even!" My disgust for people who think that way is absolutely off-the-charts.

I'll leave a comment for interactions sake as I feel these kind of articles absolutely need it. I don't really have much to say other than a personal anecdote regarding a friend of mine. They are very much on the left, more economically and socially and al ligned with the TERF side of feminism and knowing that I made similar slippery slope arguments when we discussed that we thought would come after the trans debate. That she agreed with but have been largely silence on political issues since a lot of this stuff went public. I have to wonder how many true progressives, the ones that actually believe their cause is to improve middle and working class lives, are essentially in an ideological suicide pact due to not stopping this when it was introduced academically and theoretically almost 20 years ago. Unable to speak out about it without immediate backlash from the people who are socially and ideologically holding guns to their head.

In a similar vein the YouTuber Sh0eonhead has been having a similar issue after exposing pro child rape apologists and ideologues on the left despite herself being a loudly proclaimed socialist so this does seem to have some merit.

On a funnier, if it can be found here, note I had to stop a moment at the beginning g because I honestly thought "transage" was "tran-sage" and my brain thought they were claiming they were secretly sorcerers or magical beings or something. So you know a moment of hilarity before descending into this earthly hell again.

The particular "it" being? There has been an "it" of one sort or another being gamed like this for getting on for a century at least. Trying to get at your kids through jumping some other "civil rights" bus has been a thing since Stonewall.

As a parent, I so appreciate these articles. Both to be aware of where vigilance is required to protect our kids, and for clarity when discussing these topics with other parents who love their kids but are paranoid about being any kind of “phobic”.

Thank you!!! The knowledge they're doing some good in the world makes it worth what it costs me to write them.

If you know--I'm very curious about something. Do parents of young kids use the "hierarchy of risk" where you are? Do they teach kids that, when out in public, if separated they should look for a police officer, or a mommy with children, etc.? If so, how do the leftist parents justify this, since it requires kids being able to differentiate by sex on sight? If they don't, is that the reason why? No worries if you don't know, just curious!

They wouldn’t call it that, but they would definitely tell their kids to look for someone in uniform or a mom with kids. They might get around it by saying a “parent” with kids. Most of the leftist parents that I know are complete hypocrites on these issues (and the more sensible ones will even occasionally admit to the hypocrisy, though more often they just change the subject when backed into a corner). They pay lip service to whatever the current “thing” is without thinking about it very deeply, but in their own lives they do what is best for their kids.

I wish I could ask the friends I had who were true, militant leftists that care deeply for their kids while also intensely believing in progressive causes (including trans rights) but they all cut me off in the last couple of years. 🤷‍♀️

It’s funny how capricious entry into the pantheon of victims is. but as soon as you get anointed with that status, the left is just bristling to protect you. now it’s trans kids. 20 years ago If you said “trans kids,” people would’ve looked at you like you were insane -- it would’ve been like saying “lightbulb salad.” or “stop Asian hate” -- as if the country were awash with whites who want to hurt Asians. the same leftists five years ago were mocking the Asian lawsuit against Harvard and producing movies like “crazy Rich Asians.” there’s little rhyme or reason to it.

Interesting...

"Defining deviancy down"?

Remember that phrase and concept?

I'm not sure though you need to psychoanalyze individuals and their motives and thinking or be right about it, the psychoanalysis, to declare something either a public good or ill for society generally which can just say no in the form of laws that it is a public ill and to be discouraged under penalty of law.

In this case I think you can just declare it a public ill.

Statutory rape has been on the books in many places, for many years, for a reason.

Some knew this would keep coming up and to try to deter it laws were put into place.

In some ways they may have been more realistic about it than we are today.

Realistic in that it will keep coming up.

Realistic in that consent of minors will sometimes be present but shouldn't count hence the designation, statutory rape rather than rape or rape of a minor.

Realistic in that it should be detered

for societal reasons.

Sure the system has holes in it, laws vary, enforcement varies, it still happens but so does murder.

Because laws against murder don't stop murder should murder be made legal?

I would say no.

Douglas Murray has said that Trans rights may be being used as a battering ram for other things, other ideas, perhaps this is one of those things...

I'm not as comfortable with those photos as the so called left, the so called liberals or progressives want me to be,

does that make me problematic or them?

I vote for the latter.

I find them problematic.

Even when only talking about protecting children expect to be called a phobe of one thing or another...

If this frightens you then I guess you have phobephobia?

"Well of course I'm transphobic, as apparently they want to mutilate and rape children."

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if I were trying to come up with a Cointelpro operation to demonize trans people with the intention of inspiring a murderous backlash, I couldn't possibly come up with anything better than what the modern trans movement has done itself. Fucking with people's children (quite literally in this case) is going to get them lynched.

You could go the "CSAM" route and dial things up a notch in response to the "MAP" crap. "Child Rape Fantasists". Make it explicit.

Holly, Keep beating this drum. As a grandfather of 10 - I have a big angry dog in this fight. My kids have done a great job in raising, educating and when needed, protecting them as is age appropriate. They all are fortunate to have all grandparents (both sides) who are supportive and affirming of how they are raising their kids, but this is not only about our grandkids but of course, ALL children and minors. I understand that many family's are not this fortunate but those of us who live with healthy and stable (mostly ;-)) family dynamics, need to be aware and to be prepared to help those families and children who are struggling in all types of situations. Your sharing your story and struggles helps me to make the case that I can't make as well because of my "privilege".

Thank you so much! And please keep in close touch with your grandkids. The culture is trying to brainwash them constantly and there comes a point when parental influence weakens a bit, as the normal breaking-away-separating stuff has to happen. You can help mitigate the risk there by being in touch with what they're thinking.

This drain they want us to circle looks familiar. 1969-79 badly written law loop-holed child pornography in Denmark and hence it was available with only a little difficulty in NW Europe as a whole. We later had in the UK the Paedophile Information Exchange uncomfortably tolerated pushing legalising noncing. This org had the involvement of the later Deputy Leader of the Labour Party, Harriet Harmen. I don't think this goes away; they are beaten off but come back in the following generation expecting us to have forgotten. They were latched onto the homosexual cause that time; just as they are latched onto transgender today.

This is the most cogent detailed whistleblowing on the Pedophile agenda I have ever read. Thanks to a poster on Mickey Z's substack for posting the link in the comments on Mickey's article: 5 Questions for Drag Queens and Their Enablers.

The AAM thing I had only heard mentioned once somewhere. I dismissed it as ridiculous and of little consequence. However, everything that has happened politically in the last 3 years I would have formerly thought to be not only ridiculous, but impossible. Yet it happened. This is a call to arms. I will repost it widely.
