Mind, I learnt the basics back when we had proper money. Guineas & £sd made it more of a challenge working out what the pocket money would pay for! If I had my druthers, I'd switch back to £sd and English measurements. Once you adopt anything of the god-awful French Revolution, the only way is downhill to 'Woke'.
