I really enjoy reading your discussions. You are an amazing thinker and writer !
Congratulations on paying off your loan. My only thought on your strategy is focusing payments on the lowest interest loan first may allow you to reach your overall goal a bit quicker.
Good plan on the loans. That's what I did starting about 12 years ago, and I've been debt-free (Praise God) for at least 8 or 9 years. No mortgage, no car loan, just monthly credit card bills, paid each month to maintain a no-balance state.
My second wife wanted to get me to debt-free status, and she almost succeeded before she passed. I did pay off the car loan with help from her estate.
I’m not saying that I know this will be a problem for you. But I would not be surprised if the TSA were to confiscate any pencils or similar “potential weapons” which are not less than 3 inches long.
Remind me to give you two benzos (tranquilizers) for flying. One for each way.

Again, Congratulations !!!
That should have been the highest interest loan of course. Ugh on my part.

Enjoy your time off.
Wonderful news on the student loan! Have fun vacationing unplugged and clear skies.
When you get back I hope you tell us about where you went and what you did while "unplugging."
So glad you are getting a vacation! And congratulations on the student loan progress !
