My 2024 Presidential Prediction

Edit: I stand by every word of this, but I think it’s entirely possible that Gavin Newsom may be the candidate, not Harris. I want to say that he would still be the first woman President, as a joke (since he represents a kind of toxic femininity in American politics, harming people while trying to help them, etc.) but trans activism has made jokes of that nature no longer funny. Alas.

Kamala Harris will win her own term, outright, in 2024. And here’s how.

The Democrats will lean in to the “states’ rights!'“ rhetoric on abortion during the next two years. In November 2024, there will be constitutional amendments, referenda, etc., to codify abortion rights in many states—as many states as it takes. These will drive turnout.

While voters are showing up to end the anxiety, drama, and endless bullshit of the abortion wars and secure these rights in their own states, they will oh-so-conveniently be able to vote for Harris while they’re at it.

She is the worst and least inspiring candidate since Hillary Clinton, and she’s going to win her own term in two years.

She is going to be the first woman President of the United States.

This is how it will happen.

If you, like me, will find this a difficult burden for your mental health, at least now you know. You can start to prepare yourself.

I really, really, really, really, really, really, really wish that the right had worked on hearts and minds and changing culture on an individual level and, on a political level, left well enough alone.

“My body my choice,” as they pretended to believe during the vax mandate debates, should’ve been the rule.

Instead, there will be President Kamala Harris in two years and, in the long run, probably more abortions overall.

God bless my depressed brain for anticipating problems in advance, in its noble attempt to try to protect me. They’re usually figments of my imagination, but this one is real.

Get used to it, folks. The right hasn’t learned a fucking thing from last night. Instead of asking themselves how they can change to earn more voters, they’re doubling down on the “dumb sluts” narratives. (To be fair, some of it may be the hot emotions of the day after a dramatic underperformance…but only some.)
