ChatGPT sounds like it does a good job at things that the left hemisphere of human brains can do. Not so much with the right hemispheres functions. Yes that includes the story telling. Makes sense given that left-hemisphere dominated humans created it.
I really liked the film Her. I know some people found it chilling. To me it showed that AI might be therapeutic, reading a person, seeing where they’re at and from there taking the steps to move them forward to healing their psyche.
This stuff, seeing where it is now and assuming that it will only get better and better… it’s scary. We already rely too much on others thinking for us. Seems like it might create the homogenized mind, everyone an NPC.
...Shit. Untill today I was only worried about the impressive strides being made with AI image generators BUT NOW I apparently need to worry about ending up doing poetry rap battles in the streets with robots to verify my humanity within the next decade.

Agreed overall, but the story about Gator was pretty impressive. Nice story arc, happy ending, and good detail (corrupt deep state, etc.).
It was impressive, but it struck me as situated in the uncanny story valley.
As a Christian I can say with utter conviction that the sooner modern Christian songwriters are put out of work the better.
I think I’m a little terrified.

Well, that's it. I'll never truly believe that something was written by the person who has claimed to be the author.

Truly amazing...especially the obituaries...
Wait… you said it had a lot of pictures. Maybe so, but one still had to READ all those pictures.
I am having as much fun with your inputs as I am the outputs. I imagine you having a ball formulating them.
The rhyming thing killed me. Your passive or polite frustration/scolding/condescension at the end was just wonderful.
