I’ve read this a few times and it definitely helped this morning.
There is a doc called “The Bridge” or something similar to that and in it their is a survivor from an attempt from jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. He said, “As soon I as I let go I instantly realized that all of my problems were fixable except the one I was in.”
"Stacy's Mom" is okay. "The Girl I Can't Forget", also by Fountains of Wayne, is even more sprightly and jaunty. And it has a brass section. "Stacy's Mom" doesn't have that. Also it's not overplayed :)

Damn Holly, after reading a couple other pieces from you I was wondering just what all could have happened to create a young person with such grit. Stronger the breeze, the stronger the trees. Memento Mori for sure. Thankee Sai
