You will write about this often, I am guessing. But I suspect that we will see only a small part, much as gold often has a considerable overburden. Sharing publicly is good for some, bad for many others.

I didn't know Adam and I'm truly sorry for everyone who has lost him too soon. Thank you for sharing the eulogy and these stories. I don't have sufficient words to sympathize but just thanks.

As with Adam's very moving eulogy, I find myself once again at a loss as to how to adequately respond. Each piece you've shared about Adam - someone I never knew but oh-how-I-wish I had been so blessed - reminds me that there are some truly amazing, beautiful souls who walk for a time among us and whose light far outshines and overcomes the darkness that so many others exude. I am so very sorry, Holly, for you and all those who actually knew and fiercely loved Adam but now have only his memories instead of his presence.

I, too, have been unable to find the words to adequately express the condolences I feel for Holly and all of those suffering the loss of their wonderfully kind friend. My heart goes out to all of you and once the grief subsides, or at least softens, to be replaced with your gratitude for having known and been in Adam's life, may your memories of your friend sustain you always.

Connection, care, making a difference in the lives of others... things I already embodied but now is fully ignited. And if I ever make the painting Adam wanted (meaning if I make one I feel worthy) I will send it to you, my friend.

😭😭😭

I am drawing a portrait of Adam at this very moment. The first of many. This one’s for A.J. Next one’s for you.

Oh, I love it! You will master drawing kind eyes in the process. 💖💫

If the system was still rational there would already have been a "come to Jesus" meeting between the administration of that hospital and the ED staff. The system stopped being rational... In Canada, Australia and NZ years ago. Adam was correct to be sarcastic.

I am sorry for his loss and the grief you and his family have. Grief is the price we pay for love -- yes I'm quoting but it is true. Will be thinking of you all PD the next weeks
