Do You Miss Me On Twitter?
Since leaving Twitter on Independence Day, I’ve gotten quite a few emails. Many people have mentioned that they miss me, James Lindsay, Josh Slocum, and others, some of whom have been banned and some of whom have left voluntarily. Others have said that they too wish to leave Twitter, but they feel that they need the community they find there, as there are few non-Woke people in their real lives. If the latter is you, I have good news!
There is a Discord server for supporters of the Disaffected Podcast (Josh’s podcast) where Josh, his producer Kevin, me, and many others from the “circles” I participated in/around on Twitter are gathering and hanging out. (Discord is a chat room application, similar to Slack, available for both your laptop/desktop or mobile phone.) The conversation is lively and interesting, and the community developing is great fun. It’s all the fun of Twitter, without the requirement to tell lies and pretend reality doesn’t exist!
You can gain access by $5/month or more of financial support of the Disaffected Podcast, including on Patreon, SubscribeStar, paid subscriptions to his Substack, or via PayPal (send to us@disaffected.fm).
Just a few of the awesome people gathering there, besides Josh and his producer Kevin, include: @_HelenDale, @mellow_vello, @24HourEllen, @CoffeeBreathCo1, and @MtnMorticia.
In other news, today is the last day of summer. Autumn is the best season and the most beautiful, particularly here in New England.
Behind the paywall, some pictures of (some of) my Halloween decorations, which are fully in place now. I’ll be posting foliage pictures in the next couple of weeks, too. Substack warns me this post is too large/long for email, so you may need to go to the Substack website to see all the pictures.
Coming Soon
Planned future essays include a more expansive version of my thesis that childhood transition is furthering pedophilia normalization, my argument against pornography, an update of my thoughts on using psilocybin to treat depression, some thoughts on America’s penchant for pendulum swings and embracing of extremes, my predictions for the midterm elections, and some information about the novel I’m writing (and will be publishing here, in serial fashion).
